Athens, Georgia
The second phase of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business Learning Community debuted in late 2017 and is composed of three adjoining buildings: Amos, Benson, and Moore-Rooker halls. A courtyard and overlooking mezzanine connects these buildings to Correll Hall, the first phase of construction. CannonDesign’s environmental graphics team developed a branding program and donor recognition system that seamlessly integrates into the architecture of each of these buildings in the Learning Community. Interpretive displays including a dimensional timeline celebrate and highlight the rich history and traditions of the college. An engaging donor recognition display outside of the school’s Capital Markets Lab includes a stock ticker and promotes Terry as a cutting edge leading business college. Large graphic murals inspire students to engage in the programs and offerings provided by the Terry College of Business, reinforce the school’s unique brand, and give the multiple building spaces an interconnected feel. Large scale displays and individual elements recognize donors of distinction while changeable displays showcase the achievements and accolades of the alumni, faculty, and students that constitute the Terry family.
