Merchant Marine Exhibit

The US Merchant Marine Gallery is located at the end of a pedestrian bridge uniting two large buildings on the National World War II Museum campus. The 940 square foot space is a unique immersive gallery experience that coordinates with existing exhibits throughout the museum by using similar visual language and design details. Back-lit “fast-facts” inform visitors about the Merchant Marine’s role and sacrifice throughout the war. Bold imagery, video, artifacts, and dramatic personal accounts honor their service and celebrate their heroic stories.
